The saddest thing about us—or I guess about being a human in general, is our incapacity to understand each others pain; it is simply our unawareness to when someone we care about is hurting that makes us so superficial.
Although I wish I was, I am not very observant. Surface feelings continually fool me.
Heard this on the radio. Just thought I would share.

HOLY CRAP SHE’S GORGEOUS :O
Meg Rosoff, How I Live Now (via creatingaquietmind)
“You think you need to leave, but I think I disagree. But if you believe you’ll do best without me i’ll let it go girl.. It’s over, but before we say goodbye let’s give it a try. If you leave, then baby i’ll leave. I’ll let it go girl, it’s over but I don’t have no doubts that we could work it out.”
If it weren’t for the pain you brought down upon me, I would have never been where I am today.
Stronger, wiser, patient and more independent than ever.
So thanks.
People are going to think I’m crazy.

I want to be in that type of relationship where we’re not together but still like each other enough to not talk to anyone else or to say ‘Oh, sorry. There’s someone I really like and even though we’re not together right now, I plan on being with them in the future. So thanks, but no thanks.” Call me old school but I want to get to know you before we’re in any type of official relationship. I want to know what you’re really like before I tell you that I love you. Great things take time. If possible, I would like to talk and be ‘together’ for years before actually labeling us as a couple. I want people to look at us and be like ‘Im so happy they are finally together.’ I mean honestly, there is no need to rush. If we’re talking, I’m probably serious about you & want to be together with you forever anyways. So let’s take it slow. Let’s court each other. Let’s be faithful before we ever have the chance to cheat on each other.
